Congratulations to Chase Williams, a Holicong Middle School 9th grader who wrestles for CB East, for winning the PIAA 3A State Championship in wrestling!
Chase defeated Northampton's Brayden Wenrich on March 8 in Hershey, PA to become the first-ever freshman in Central Bucks School District history to win a state wrestling title. He is also the first CB East state champion in wrestling since 1982.
Chase finished his season 40-2 and avenged both losses during his amazing postseason run.
Well done to Chase, his coach David Scarpill and his assistant coaches, and his family for all their support in helping him achieve this incredible accomplishment!
